PLA 3D Printing

PLA (Polylactic Acid) is one of the most widely used 3D printing materials — and for good reason.

It produces clean, accurate prints with excellent surface detail, making it ideal for a huge range of applications.

PLA is particularly suitable for:

PLA is easy to print, produces excellent results and is available in a wide range of colours and finishes.

For applications that don't require significant heat resistance, PLA is often an excellent starting point.

PETG 3D Printing

PETG (Polyethylene Terephthalate Glycol) provides a useful step up when you need a tougher and more durable material.

PETG offers good mechanical strength and durability while retaining the versatility that makes FDM 3D printing so useful.

It is particularly suitable for:

Protective covers
Enclosures
Replacement parts
Outdoor applications
Parts subjected to increased mechanical stress

If a component needs to take more punishment than a typical PLA part, PETG may be the better choice.
